President Trump called Cummings a “brutal bully” and said his congressional district was both “a disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess” and “the worst run and most dangerous [district] anywhere in the United States.”

So reporter @AprilDRyan got the ball rolling, using the hashtag #WeAreBaltimore after Trump slammed Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings’s district in a Tweet.

The #WeAreBaltimore hashtag is designed to pretend that massive amounts of violent crime, extreme poverty, and political corruption don’t exist in their city.

Baltimore is where even the police get robbed.
