There is little doubt that the wild impeachment circus that has rolled into Washington DC will be an unmitigated disaster for the Democrats, as their second-hand “whistleblower” story continues to blow up in their faces.
Not only are there serious doubts about how and where this information has come into possession of the supposed complainant, but the behavior of the “resistance”-minded liberals has raised plenty of eyebrows on Capitol Hill as well. House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff is facing a possible, (but unlikely), censure after imagining a “parody” conversation that could have led the whistleblower to speak out.
To further spin this media hoopla into something worth talking about, the Washington Post has now planted a wild seed in the minds of the Democratic Party’s base: Nancy Pelosi could soon be President.

The Post piece arises as Democrats have moved towards an impeachment inquiry into Trump’s conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In the conversation, Trump asked Zelensky about a former Ukrainian prosecutor’s investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and his shady business dealings.
Is this even possible? The authors seem to believe so.
The writers contended that because Pence has appeared to be a “witness” to the president’s conversation with Zelensky, the “prospect of the House speaker’s ascension is not as remote at is seemed just a week ago.”
President Trump has made it clear that there was no wrongdoing during the phone call at the heart of the issue, and has made available the most pertinent documents in the investigation without hesitation.
