New York Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand told ABC's "This Week" that Obama can regain the public's trust. "Of course he can," she said. Gillibrand also said she didn't feel misled by the president but allowed, "He should have just been more specific."
It's really funny that Senator Gillibrand herself, is on tape repeating Obama's lie (literally word for word) that "If you like your current insurance plan you can keep it" So that either makes her a liar or just plain stupid for not reading the bill she affixed her signature to. Either way, she should be sent packing come November of 2014!
It is no secret that Republicans (to a man) didn't want this bill in the first place, but in true "Alinsky form" Democrats are trying to paint them as the bad guys for not wanting to "fix" the ACA. Why should Republicans be held accountable for something that none of them voted for and that they repeatedly tried to repeal? Republicans knew what was going to happen, and their cries were not only ignored, but they, along with the Tea Party, were ridiculed for trying to defund or repeal it.
"If people prefer their existing coverage, they should be able to keep it," said Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, (D-AZ), one of the Democrats who backed the House bill. "Healthcare reform should work for Arizona's hardworking families, and Democrats and Republicans must be willing to listen to new ideas to fix this law to make it as good as it can be."
No. Democrats own this one all by themselves; lock stock and barrel!
This entire thing never had to happen in the first place. Our healthcare system (flawed though it is) was not "broken" and it certainly didn't need a monkey-wrench thrown in the middle of it by a moron who should never have been elected to the highest political office in the land in the first place. Obama, though, was trying to avoid a legislative "solution" for ObamaCare. He and his advisers insisted they could, administratively, allow insurers and state commissioners to sell plans that were previously deemed ineligible under ObamaCare. But wouldn't that be in violation of his own law? Won't that create more chaos in an already chaotic insurance industry? So much for the myth of Obama's "brilliance."
No, this entire law needs to be repealed, it was a bad idea in the first place to think that somehow "government" could make it (or anything for that matter) more efficient. Remember, the ACA is filled with hidden fees and taxes and that's a large chunk of tax-payer change that Democrats don't want to give up! Let's not forget that, this "law" was upheld by the Supreme Court as a "tax." That, was another Obama lie - "This is not a tax."
But true to form, Democrats will try to spin the Republicans as the bad guys "who want dirty air and dirty water," "who want to throw granny off the cliff," have an ongoing "war on women" and as the political party who doesn't want you to have access to affordable healthcare!
What the Obama administration needs right now is another good old fashioned "crisis," to take the heat off of Democrats, because lying only works until you have to make good on all "free stuff" you promise.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
