If the American public has not come to the realization that many in the federal government have developed some form of insanity, the remarks issued by FBI director James Comey should remove all doubt. In an interview with "60 minutes," Comey indicated the FBI was aware of a dozen or so American citizens who are fighting with ISIS, knows exactly who these individuals are, and that these individuals are "entitled" to return to the US after fighting unless their passport is revoked. Comey stated, "Ultimately, an American citizen, unless their passport's been revoked, is entitled to come back. So, someone who's fought with ISIL, with an American passport wants to come back, we will track them very carefully."
In other words, every Muslim American citizen with a passport could go fight alongside ISIS, then come back to the US via international air travel, only to be "tracked" by the government when they return home. Non-muslims American citizens, who are sympathetic to ISIS, could do the same thing. While the NSA spies upon innocent American citizens who have no ties to terrorists, Christians and patriots targeted as "dissidents," those opposed to the current administration are targeted by the IRS, and climate change deniers are considered threats, the federal government has boldly stated those individuals engaged in "treasonous activities" and "fighting alongside an enemy of the US" are "entitled" to return to America because they are citizens.
Doesn't our own law preclude that from happening?
United States Code, Section 1481 states that "A person who is a national of the United States whether by birth or naturalization, shall lose his nationality by voluntarily performing any of the following acts with the intention of relinquishing United States nationality-- ...(3) entering, or serving in, the armed forces of a foreign state if (A) such armed forces are engaged in hostilities against the United States, or … (7) committing any act of treason against, or attempting by force to overthrow, or bearing arms against, the United States, … , or to levy war against them, if and when he is convicted thereof by a court martial or by a court of competent jurisdiction."
These "dozen or so" individuals known by the FBI have "voluntarily" entered into the fighting forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or the Islamic State. ISIS or IS has openly declared a war upon the United States, thereby making the foreign state an enemy of the US. The group has amassed large swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria, whereby they have declared such territory "the Islamic Caliphate." The name even indicates it is a "state," regardless of what anyone in the government or lame stream enemedia try to proclaim. This, in and of itself, should indicate any American citizen who travels to fight alongside the enemy of their own free will is a traitor and should have their passport and citizenship revoked as per the law.
In early September, Stated Department spittle spewer, Jen Psaki, made this statement to reporters.
"The United States, including the State Department, has long had the authority to revoke passports. Obviously, there are different reasons for that, including fraud but also pending legal charges, which would be more applicable in some of these cases that we're discussing. Clearly, we wouldn't make those decisions on our own. We would make them in coordination with law enforcement authorities. There are also capabilities that the United States has, including putting individuals on a no-fly list. … So I think, obviously, there are a range of steps and ways that we can prevent individuals who pose harm to us from either returning to the United States or being allowed to stay … being allowed to operate as private citizens in the United States. And that's – we've long had those capabilities."
Oh yes, the government has demonstrated its ability to "prevent individuals who pose harm to us" from entering, returning or staying by its strict border enforcement, deportation policies, and travel screening procedures. And those raids by government agencies on the 30 odd something terrorist camps scattered across the United States have almost shut down the terror threat to the US. Everyone should be relieved the government prevented an infant from "flying the friendly skies" because of the terror threat. (sarcasm)
An individual who is an American citizen, who engages in terrorist activity by fighting alongside enemies of the United States, is "entitled" to return to the US, but will be tracked—this is the mantra of Comey and the federal government. It seems the "entitlements" of a few trump the individual God-given unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness of the rest of American citizens. According to our government, these "entitled" are exempt from the law of the land regarding naturalization and treason because "they are entitled" as American citizens to return home. After being amongst terrorists, the "intelligence community" in the federal government believes there is no threat for these individuals to fly in airplanes across the globe through other countries after communing with, aiding, and supporting terrorists. They will be "tracked" once they enter the US – how? For how long? Who is doing the tracking? How much does it cost the taxpayer? And what happens when one commits a crime resulting in the death of an American? Who is responsible for damages resulting from the crime committed by that "tracked" individual when the US government allowed that individual re-entry?
Let's not forget, these individuals are committing crimes of genocide, murder, and rape, along with a host of others that would result in any other individual being placed in jail, whether in a foreign country or here at home. These individuals are becoming members of a "foreign army." The best the FBI and government can do is "track" these individuals. Germans who committed crimes, identified as genocide, during a time of war were tried and convicted. To this day, the hunt for German war criminals resulted in a 90-year-old man living in America to be held accountable for his role in the genocide.
Is everyone in the federal government "stuck on stupid?" These individuals should not be allowed re-entry into the United States, as they have voluntarily surrendered their citizenship by their actions, regardless of possessing a valid US passport. Because of their actions, they have become criminals, at home as well as internationally. It is naïve for the FBI to even bring forth the notion of "tracking" these individuals, as the government track record is dismal – Boston bombers, 9/11 terrorists, illegal aliens residing in the US, terrorists in training camps across the US.
According to Comey, "We are better organized as an intelligence community. We're better organized and equipped at the border. We have relationships with our foreign partners. All of which makes us better to see dots and connect dots. The transformation since before 9/11 is striking."
Personally, I call "bull hockey" on all of this. Intelligence community – that is a contradiction in terms when talking about those individuals comprising agencies like the FBI, CIA, NSA, the Pentagon and any other agency charged with the security of the United States against terrorism. They are more concerned about gathering every American's conversations, emails, internet activity, sweetheart Skype interactions and checking to see if their girlfriends are cheating than focusing on the terrorism element present in our country and abroad. It's more important to be "politically correct" and "make nice" with Islamic governments who would just as soon eradicate the US as have dealings with us, not to mention trying to appease Muslims residing in the United States. The administration and those in government deem it more important to associate with CAIR, ISNA and the Muslim Brotherhood, taking those group's recommendations on terrorism, than it is to identify the entire crux of the problem of terrorism as stemming from Islam and directing efforts to remove this theocracy, along with those practicing it, from our nation.
One thing Comey did get right – "the transformation since before 9/11 is striking." Americans have seen their God-given unalienable rights trampled by the government in the name of security while the government uses the Constitution as toilet paper. Yes, the transformation is striking; but, not in a good way.
Comey stated one transformation was the expansion of the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team that partnered with US Special Operations Forces to engage in hundreds of missions in Iraq resulting in the capture of a suspect indicted for his role in Benghazi. One man, hundreds of missions. Comey used the capture of one man out of hundreds of missions to justify this "transformation."
Well, Mr. Comey, call us when you round up hundreds or thousands of Islamic terrorists, then maybe we can talk about the "justification" of this "transformation" that has seen the eradication of individual rights and the trampling of the Constitution – not! There is no justification for violating the Supreme Law of the Land.
And, there is no justification for defending those who support Islam, its death ideology, its cult of torture, and its reign of abuse. Islam is Islam…period. By their own twisted ideology, a Muslim cannot serve their pagan devil and embrace the principles upon which this country was founded – they are in opposition. The ideological theocracy that is Islam will win with Muslims every time, regardless of where their citizenship rests.
That, Mr. Comey, is factual, based on their own book--the Qu'ran--and the observation of their actions. Until those in government remove their blinders, stupidity and idiocy, it will never be seen. As has been so aptly put…"ignorance can be corrected with education; but, there is no cure for stupid."Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
