Undercover Video Reveals Planned Parenthood Endorsing Gendercide

A video released from a pro-life group called Live Action is getting quite a bit of attention. An undercover woman goes into a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Austin, TX where she received encouragement to murder her unborn child because it was a girl and she wanted a boy.

“I see that you’re saying that you want to terminate if it’s a girl, so are you just wanting to continue the pregnancy in the meantime?” a counselor named “Rebecca” offers the woman, who is purportedly still in her first trimester and cannot be certain about the gender. “The abortion covers you up until 23 weeks,” explains Rebecca, “and usually at 5 months is usually (sic) when they detect, you know, whether or not it’s a boy or a girl.” Doctors agree that the later in term a doctor performs an abortion, the greater the risk of complications.

The staff person then advises the woman to get on Medicaid in order to pay for an ultrasound and determine the baby’s gender. She then encourages the woman to “just continue and try again” for a boy after she murders her own child. “Good luck, and I hope that you get your boy,” she says without batting an eye.

Lifesitenews reports,

Live Action in a press release this morning said Planned Parenthood “betrays its own supposedly feminist ideology” by supporting the selected abortion of girls, a practice as many as 77 percent of Americans oppose.

“Planned Parenthood claims to oppose ‘gendercide.’ So, why was Planned Parenthood staff so focused on aborting a baby girl, just because she was a girl?” said the group.

Last month, Planned Parenthood told the Huffington Post that it suspected another Live Action sting, and pre-emptively announced that they condemned “sex selection motivated by gender bias” and found sex-selective abortion “deeply unsettling,” but did not say the group refused to perform such abortions.

The group Live Action is a youth led movement dedicated to building a culture of life and ending the human rights abuse of abortion. It’s young people like this that give hope for the future in America.

Daniel Doherty of Townhall.com also reported on the video and said,

I can’t watch the clip above without reflecting upon Congressman Ron Paul’s (R-TX) moving pro-life advertisement he released during the heady days of the 2012 Republican presidential primary. As it happens, after walking into a hospital room one day during a late-term abortion, Dr. Paul watched as specialists terminated a pregnancy and placed the aborted, breathing fetus into a bucket to die. Meanwhile, in an operating room down the hallway – perhaps only a few feet away – doctors were frantically scrambling to save the life of a baby born prematurely. The message was simple: how can we – as ostensibly moral human beings – arbitrarily decide who lives and who dies?

“Unless we resolve this and understand that life is precious,” Paul explains during the spot, “we can’t protect liberty.” Indeed.
