President Donald Trump has decided to return from London early this week, where he has been engaged in a long-scheduled meeting with out NATO allies. The trip, unsurprisingly, was mired in controversy as has become custom thanks to the “resistance” to his election.
First, there was the revelation that House Democrats were to hold impeachment hearings today, on a day in which they understood that the President would be away from Washington on important, unwavering business.
Then, there was the release of a candid piece of video in which several world leaders who also attended the NATO summit were seen seemingly mocking President Trump.
Trump, not one to be needled without response, had some stern words for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the key figure in the video above.
President Trump slammed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday as “two-faced” after video surfaced of some of the world’s top leaders at the NATO summit in London appearing to laugh at his expense.
Asked about the video during a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Trump said of Trudeau, “he’s two-faced.”
Trump then abruptly canceled a planned news conference with reporters in London. “When today’s meetings are over, I will be heading back to Washington,” Trump tweeted. “We won’t be doing a press conference at the close of NATO because we did so many over the past two days. Safe travels to all!”
French President Emmanuel Macron, who is also seen in the video, clashed with President Trump earlier during the summit during a joint press conference, tipping his hat toward the radical leftist “resistance” here in the United States.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
