President Trump has remained defiant throughout this “formal impeachment process”, insisting that he has done nothing wrong when it comes to his Ukrainian dealings, even going so far as to release a memorandum of the phone call that kicked off the entire fiasco in the first place.
Trump and his Congressional Republican support system have been busy batting back at the Democrats, sending their pedantic and meandering arguments back from whence they came with a quickness. Heck, the GOP has even had time to delve into the matters that lie beyond the Democrat’s current scope, which make up the foundation of why and when these questions were being asked of Ukraine.
Confidence is still brimming within the Commander in Chief, despite the left’s incessant spin on the subject, and he vehemently declared that he was ready for a Senate trial on the subject.
In a question designed to praise Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik, Trump quickly turned to the overall ordeal. “The bottom line is, all of those witnesses, they’re all shifty Schiff’s,” he noted, adding “don’t forget there was no due process. You can’t have lawyers. We couldn’t have any witnesses.”
He then said “we want to call the whistleblower. But you know who I want as the first witness> Because frankly, I want a trial. You know, I think–”
Brian Kilmeade followed “You want a trial?”
Trump replied “Oh, I would! Look, number one, they should never, ever impeach.”
In other words, the President of the United States just told the Democrats to bring it on.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
