Representative Elijah Cummings died early this morning at the age of 68, his office said. He passed away at Johns Hopkins Hospital at 2:45 a.m. from “complications concerning longstanding health challenges.”
My warmest condolences to the family and many friends of Congressman Elijah Cummings. I got to see first hand the strength, passion and wisdom of this highly respected political leader. His work and voice on so many fronts will be very hard, if not impossible, to replace!

The media are looking for any and every reason to trash the man regardless of what he says, even taking advantage of the passing of Elijah Cummings to attempt a nasty dunk on the president …
For tweeting out condolences. More
They just can’t help themselves:
Trump on 7/27: “Cumming[s] District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”
On 7/28: “If racist Elijah Cummings would focus more of his energy on helping…people…perhaps progress could be made.”
Today: “My warmest condolences.” His work will be very hard to replace.

Ok, so now we have what FAKE #Trump was given by his trainers to tweet. When will we see what REAL #TRUMP has to say?

Give it a few hours. He’s just finishing his second breakfast.

Agreed he hates when other people get accolades for their leadership, passion and service to others, especially poc, he is probably stewing about it now.

This isn’t how you tweeted about him when he was alive. You are scum. #RIPElijah

The first time he’s asked about this in front of cameras he will spew the bile he really wanted to say.

I’m hoping the media have some respect for this great man and just shut up. I’m tired of hearing questions asked of Trump (a pathological liar) so we can get a stream of lies, hate, misinformation and raw sewage.

whoever wrote this. Please do the world a favour and don’t give the phone back to Donald. Just keep it for a day or so, tell him it needs updating or something.
The world needs some rest, the last few days have really been exhausting.— Zeboštjan (@Franzwerfel) October 17, 2019
Someone else obviously wrote this tweet expressing sadness over the passing of Elijah Cummings.
Recall that Trump celebrated the burglary of Cummings’ home and insulted his beloved city of Baltimore using vile racist terms.
I can’t imagine Trump will be welcome at the funeral. pic.twitter.com/uf0ZE7Nd8J

Words are hollow when you constantly attack Democratic Party calling them socialist and do nothing‘s. Fact of the matter is the complete opposite. Democrats have passed over 250 bills that you and Senate Republican leadership ignore. Death shouldn’t be the only unifying policy

President Trump had enough respect to not speak ill of the dead. Which is more than I can say for those immediately politicizing Elijah Cummings’ death to attack the president.
