Trump voters are outpacing Biden’s voters in early voting in key battleground states, according to early voting data released by the various states.
The data from three key states, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, shows that Republicans are keeping pace or out performing Democrats in mail-in and early voting, the Washington Examiner reported.
The early numbers favoring Republicans comes in despite national polls that claim Biden is running away with the 2020 election.
The data contradicts national polls showing Biden supporters overwhelmingly plan to vote by mail or early in person. According to a Pew Research poll released Friday, 55% of voters who plan to cast their ballot in person before Election Day support Biden, compared to 40% who support President Trump.
Trump beat Hillary Clinton because of middle class and Rust Belt voters in these key areas and the numbers show that Trump is even doing better this time out than he did in 2016.
Indeed, at this point in the race, The RealClearPolitics average show Trump in is doing better right now than he was doing in their polling at this time in 2016. The RCP average has Trump beating his 2016 numbers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, North Carolina, and Arizona.
But this race still portends a very, very close end result. So, Trump voters need to keep pouring into the early voting booths and barring that getting themselves and their friends to the polls on Election Day.
