Trump on The Witness Stand? POTUS Leaves Door Open After Pelosi Invitation

So far, this “formal impeachment process” of the Democrats has been one heck of a spectacle…and that doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon.

This week will be a particularly eventful one, at least in the eyes of the “resistance” Democrats who will be calling eight witnesses to testify before Congress, all in an attempt to vilify and undermine President Trump’s relationship with Ukraine.

This is an escalation from last week, when only two public testimonies occurred, with both instances being critically panned as “draws” between the Democrats and the GOP.  The needle isn’t moving among independent voters either, which is a real concern for the left’s belief that this impeachment “inquiry” could help them win in 2020.

So, what is the Democratic Party to do now?  Unbelievably, it seems that calling the President himself to testify is now an option.

President Trump said Monday he would “strongly consider” testifying or providing answers in writing as part of the House impeachment inquiry, after Democrats challenged him to appear as part of the probe.

“Our Crazy, Do Nothing (where’s USMCA, infrastructure, lower drug pricing & much more?) Speaker of the House, Nervous Nancy Pelosi, who is petrified by her Radical Left knowing she will soon be gone (they & Fake News Media are her BOSS), suggested on Sunday’s DEFACE THE NATION that I testify about the phony Impeachment Witch Hunt,” Trump tweeted, in a derogatory reference to “Face the Nation.”

The Commander in Chief had his reasons.

“She also said I could do it in writing. Even though I did nothing wrong, and don’t like giving credibility to this No Due Process Hoax, I like the idea & will, in order to get Congress focused again, strongly consider it!” he continued.

President Trump has repeatedly and consistently denied any wrongdoing in the matter at hand, even going so far as to release a memorandum of the allegedly nefarious phone described in a whistleblower complaint that kicked off the entire “formal impeachment inquiry”.
