President Donald Trump answered directly a reporter's questions with reference to whether he would be advancing more gun laws and "extreme vetting" for buying a gun in the wake of the shooting that took place at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday.

Trump found the question to be odd considering he was in Seoul, South Korea but said he would address it.

“We could let a little time go by but it’s okay if you feel that’s an appropriate question, even though we’re in the heart of South Korea, I will certainly answer your question,” Trump told the reporter.

“If you did what you’re suggesting, there would have been no difference three days ago, and you might not have had that very brave person who happened to have a gun or a rifle in his truck go out and shoot him, and hit him and neutralize him,” Trump said.

“And I can only say this: If he didn’t have a gun, instead of having 26 dead, you would have had hundreds more dead. ” Trump added.

“So that’s the way I feel about it. Not going to help.” the President concluded.

President Trump simply told the NBC reporter that stricter gun laws and more vetting would have only served to possibly prohibit Stephen Willeford, who obtained his gun from his vehicle, to stop the murderous rampage of devout anti-theist Devin Patrick Kelley.

He then pointed to an example of what she was basically calling for.

“The city with the strongest gun laws in our nation is Chicago and Chicago is a disaster.  It’s a total disaster,” Trump said.

“Just remember if this man didn’t have a gun or rifle, you’d be talking about a much worse situation in the great state of Texas.” Trump added, speaking of Willeford, who engage chased Kelley and engaged him in a firefight.

Still, all we hear are emotionally challenged gun grabbing politicians and the media clammering to advance their gun grabbing agenda so they can feel good about "doing something" when the reality is that they are doing nothing to stop crime and everything to violate the law that is to bind our representatives and protect our liberties.

I can't recall a time when a socialist or Communist gun grabbing politician or media "useful idiot" stopped a mass shooting.  Can you?  But I can list hundreds of instances where law-abiding gun owners stopped countless crimes from being committed.

I give President Trump's response high marks.  Well done, Sir!
