The left will simply say anything in order to disparage the President of the United States.
The mainstream media’s “infotainment” spin on world events has devolved into little more than democratically-driven drivel, as evidenced by the sheer number of pundits looking to make a name for themselves by delegitimizing President Trump.
And it’s not just the 2016 election that they are looking to undermine, either. No, these talking heads are going after the very office of the president itself, attempting to paint the Commander in Chief as some sort of irate and childish bully – particularly in the wake of an aborted military strike on Iran yesterday.
The “Morning Joe” host said he’s glad Trump made the last-minute decision Thursday night to call off retaliatory strikes against Iran in response to the downing of a Navy drone that Washington said was over international airspace.
Here’s where it went a bit batty…
“I think a very definite trend is emerging. … This is a president who loves to insult, loves to bully, he loves to threaten, but what happens when our adversaries understand that he’s never going to follow through? By the way, I don’t think we should actually bomb Iran unless Britain, France, Germany and all of our other allies are shoulder to shoulder,” he said.
If this is the way that the American media is treating the President’s benevolence, what must the rest of world be saying?
President Trump’s decision to call off the airstrike, whether entirely premeditated or not, has given Iran their last inch of wiggle room. They know know that they were 10 minutes away from feeling the heat from the west, and their next actions will determine their own fate.
Scarborough’s insinuation is that the President isn’t mature enough to handle himself in a military incident, an opinion from a paid entertainer, sends a clear message to the international community that America can be played.
This isn’t just a “resistance” anymore. This is something much nearer to treachery.
