"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." -Deuteronomy 6:4-8
"And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name." -Revelation 13:15-17
The above passages go hand in hand despite the claims of modern-day "end time" Bible prophecy "experts" who want to tell you that the second passage has nothing to do with the first. The contrast is clear in the mind of first-century Christians who would have understood the concept of idolatry and the use of hand and forehead being tied to the worship of a state god rather than the living God, the Creator. It also contrasts following the laws of God, which are the commands of Christ (Revelation 12:17; 14:12; 22:14), and the laws of man, or a tyrannical beast (Revelation 13). With that said, I ran across a short video by a woman named Carey Wedler. While there are a couple of statements that should be clarified because in their present form they aren't exactly correct, her overall presentation is correct. The most dangerous religion in the world isn't Islam, though it is dangerous not only physically, but spiritually. The most dangerous religion in the world is statism.

Now, if you are easily triggered, and yes, there are some "on my side," who are, then you might not want to watch this because it might just present some question to blind allegiance of a single person or political party. However, that actually might be the best thing to happen to you.
Some of the problems in the video is actually claiming that Christianity was responsible for death and other things. While people took Christianity and used it as a weapon in clear violation of its teachings, the same cannot be said about either Islam or statism. That should be clarified.
Other presentations of promoting abortion, and I believe it's implied though I don't recall seeing a visual about it, sodomy, are clearly not freedoms, but bondage that destroys health and human life.
Additionally, our history does have verified documentation of our beginnings that were recognized by people at the time. Sadly, some in America have even made our Constitution out to be god. It's not. It was never inspired by God like the Scriptures. If it was, it would never be allowed to be amended because it would be perfect. It's an imperfect document written by imperfect men. The Scriptures are the final authority on all matters of faith and practice, including law. When men depart from that, they get statism, which is nothing more than tyranny.
What Ms. Wedler longs for freedom, as many people do, and while I am in total agreement with her on being against statism, the reality is that many people today are finding themselves in a vacuum where they are left to their own minds to determine right and wrong rather than have the bumpers of God's law to keep them on the straight and narrow and enjoy real freedom. They do what is right in their own eyes, which is just a wicked as the statists because that is nothing more than a form of secular humanism, which also has a deadly history tied to the very statism mentioned.
With that said, take a look at Wedler's video and see if it doesn't challenge or maybe even trigger you.
For those interested in what I briefly mentioned in the first paragraph, I highly recommend a thoroughly Biblical audio exposition of the Book of Revelation by Phillip Kayser. It is sound, historically accurate and it just might change your worldview to that of truly seeing Jesus as King and go forward in the name of the Lord to see him bring all His enemies into submission (1 Corinthians 15:24-28), and that submission doesn't come by the sword or the gun or tanks or anything else like that (2 Corinthians 10:4), but the Gospel message (Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 6:10-18).Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
