Squad’ Members Vow To Help Pay Bail For ‘Straight Pride’ Protesters
Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley vow to help pay bail for counterprotesters arrested at ‘Straight Pride’ parade.
Charges against the protestors who were arrested included disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, though some were charged with assault and battery on a police officer.
One way to support the local LGBTQ community impacted by Boston’s white supremacist parade?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and fellow member of “the Squad” Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., vowed Saturday to contribute to a fund that is raising bail money for the 36 counterprotesters arrested at the “Straight Pride Parade” in Boston.
Nine of the counterprotesters arrested have been charged with assaulting police officers, the Boston Herald reported. Ocasio-Cortez and Pressley both tweeted out a link to a crowdsourcing page called The Solidarity Against Hate Legal Defense Fund, which has raised nearly $25,000 to pay bail and other legal fees of those arrested while protesting the march.
“One way to support the local LGBTQ community impacted by Boston’s white supremacist parade?” Ocasio-Cortez said on Twitter, sharing a link to the fund. “Contribute to the Bail Fund for the activists who put themselves on the line protecting the Boston community.”
Ocasio-Cortez retweeted Pressley’s initial tweet about the fund. Pressley slammed the “Straight Pride” event as an “#LGBT hate march” and asked followers to join her in making a contribution to the fund. More
If a Straight Pride parade is anti-gay, then isn’t a Gay Pride parade anti-straight?
Funny how when the LGBT community protests or parades down Main Street everyone respects their right to assembly but let a few straight white people peacefully assembly and all hell breaks loose.

A judge has denied almost every request to dismiss charges or ease bail for three dozen counterprotesters who were arrested at the Boston Straight Pride event despite prosecutors’ requests, according to NBC’s Boston affiliate.
I was there. Those “activists” are terrorists. They spent the day calling for violence and I watched them ASSAULT police officers.
They instigated violence. They want violence.
Now you’re raising money for them?
How the hell are you an elected official?

Does anyone else agree that Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley have crossed over the line by supporting individuals who have assaulted law enforcement officers? I thought they took an oath of office to uphold and support the laws of the United States of America?

Please stop advocating for criminals who were justifiable arrested in multiple occasions when they crowded streets with moving traffic, physically pressed up against officers who ordered them to clear the area, and harassed them flipping them off & calling them pigs and the kkk
