With Americans increasingly living their lives in the digital realm, it has become absolutely imperative that we protect ourselves from the whims and fantasies of those who have risen to power online.
This is due to the exponential evolution of the online world, and invariably slow reaction by legal and constitutional scholars on the matter. Simply put: Google and others are growing in scope and power faster than our laws can catch up to them.
These Silicon Valley giants are operating in their own version of the Wild West, essentially, declaring themselves Sheriff, judge, jury, and executioner all at once. Firms like Google are particularly frightening, as hidden camera investigations have previously revealed their hopes of “preventing another Trump situation” come 2020. Due to the legal inability to enforce the freedom of speech on these “private” corporations, they are meddling in American politics at an alarming clip, censoring conservative viewpoints repeatedly and consistently in their opposition to President Trump.
Now, yet another Google insider has revealed these insidious machinations, this time blowing the whistle himself rather than being hoodwinked by investigative journalists.

Just how damning are the allegations?
Project Veritas has published an on-the-record interview with an insider who works at Google named Greg Coppola. This video interview follows a series of insider Google reports, including internal Google documents, recently published by Project Veritas which exposed political bias, “algorithmic unfairness,” and the use of “blacklists” at YouTube.
Coppola is a senior software engineer at Google who works on artificial intelligence and the Google Assistant:
COPPOLA: I’ve been coding since I was ten [years old.] I have a PhD, I have five years’ experience at Google and I just know how algorithms are. They don’t write themselves. We write them to do what want them to do.”
“that can be dangerous…”
The insider spoke with Project Veritas because he wants people to be aware of his concerns about technology companies’ ability to influence politics:
COPPOLA: “Well I think we’re just at a really important point in human history. I think for a while we had tech that was politically neutral. Now we have tech that really, first of all is taking sides in a political contest, which I think, you know, anytime you have big corporate power merging with political parties can be dangerous. And I think more generally we have to just decide now that we kind of are seeing tech use its power to manipulate people. It’s a time to decide, you know, do we run the technology, does the technology run us?”
This is yet another step in the direction of an authoritarian, technocratic society where American opinions are shaped by wealthy corporations through censorship and automated, algorithmic “book burning”.
If we don’t stand up for our freedom now, we may very well miss our opportunity to do so.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
