Over the past week or so, I have taken the time to visit a number of forums that cater to those on the left. Someone might ask why and it was simply because I wanted to reassure myself that those folks really have no clue. I wasn’t disappointed.
From individuals who resolutely believe that President Obama has done many wonderful things to help people in this country to those who believe that it’s the folks on the right who are truly “stoopid” and just can’t help it, my visit to these forums was an occasion to stare incredulously at the computer screen knowing that they believed what they had posted.
Also, within the past few days, we have seen a number of perfect examples of just how asinine individuals on the left are when it comes to making completely erroneous and just plain “stoopid” comments. It really boggles my mind completely, but what even boggles it more is the fact that in cases of elected officials, thousands of people had to vote for them!
It is almost as though we are seeing the words of the Bible come to life before our very eyes. These people love wickedness and because of it, God seems to have turned them over to their own devices (cf. Romans 1; 2 Timothy 3:1, etc.). As we move toward a time when I believe a one-world empire will rise again in the same area where the Roman Empire once stood, it seems that some people are tripping over themselves to be as stupid as possible. The worst part is that few see anything wrong with it and many continue to vote for these individuals, obviously based on race/ethnicity alone. I guess they believe having a complete moron in office who happens to be a person of color is better than not having a person of color in office in the first place. I would tell them to “think again,” but they likely can’t.
Without further ado, let’s get to it then. The following examples force me to warn readers that just ahead, lies the “MORON ALERT” for the day.
Let’s start with Sheila Jackson Lee. In a recent interview with her, MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin asked her a simple question about America’s southern border. The question was simply “Do you think the border is secure?”
It’s a simple enough question that anyone should be able to answer with a straightforward “yes” or “no.” Not Jackson Lee. She started to answer it heading off on her own “walkabout,” but was interrupted by Melvin and asked her again to simply answer the question with a “yes” or “no.”
Of course, Jackson Lee will kow tow to no one and she proves it once again. Her response, ““I think our border, with now 21,000 border patrol agents, is under control.”
Notice that she did not really answer the question about whether the border is actually secure. She simply said it’s under control. Of course, that’s an appalling lie unless of course her definition of “under control” means that it is essentially wide open allowing anyone who wants to come into America as being “under control.”
One might almost take her response to mean something along the lines of a conspiracy theory. “Yes,” says Jackson Lee, “the influx of illegal aliens into this country is going according to plan.” But then again, I really don’t think Jackson Lee is that intelligent.
Twitter was quick to respond. One individual referred to her as being as “dumb as a bag of hammers.” Maybe, but I would rather compare her with living beings myself.
We’ve all been to zoos. One of my favorite exhibits is the gorillas because of their majesty and power. Gorillas are also not at all stupid. Personally, I think Jackson Lee (and the people who voted for her) could learn quite a bit from gorillas. They are not stupid creatures. In that sense then, Jackson Lee doesn’t hold a candle to the gorilla.
Another individual who also happens to be black, female, and a Democrat has come out with another statement that is on par with nearly anything Jackson Lee could say. Her name is Barbara Lee, a Democrat in California. Are you ready?
The statement seems absolutely ridiculous on the surface (and it is), but even after Lee (any relation to Jackson Lee?) explains her meaning, it still sounds radically vapid.
[F]ood insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health.
Congresswoman Lee believes that women – more than men – are at a supreme disadvantage with respect to the alleged global warming and climate change that she believes is occurring throughout the world. Because of this, she has offered a resolution.
The resolution says the ability of women to adapt to climate change is “constrained by a lack of economic freedoms, property and inheritance rights, as well as access to financial resources, education, family planning and reproductive health, and new tools, equipment, and technology.”
I honestly do not know what to make of this type of rhetoric. In a very real way, it is reminiscent of Rep. Hank Johnson – another Democrat – who presented his views in a Congressional hearing before military brass, stating that he (at the time) believed that if the island of Guam become overpopulated, the entire island could very well…um…capsize.
I do not understand how people like this can make it through life much less become elected to Congress. Yet, this is what we have in this country.
- Apparently, the US Constitution is 400 years old
- Neil Armstrong planted a flag on Mars, not the moon
- As recent as 2010, she actually believes there are two Vietnams
I don’t want to continue. Yet, in spite of the abject stupidity of the three individuals I’ve highlighted, the left continues to denigrate Sarah Palin while calling all of us on the right as “stoopid.”
I would just like to know why these people get re-elected? Do you think race has anything to do with it? I do, because there is nothing else in these situations makes any form of sense.
It’s ridiculous and makes one think that the people in districts of Jackson Lee, Johnson, and Lee are complete morons. I hate to think so, but I can’t think of another reason.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com on Instagram.
