South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (R) said that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should and will testify next month before Congress regarding the events that led up to the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya that left four Americans dead, including the U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.
“I think Secretary Clinton has been ill, suffered a concussion, and she will testify,” Graham said. He said that suggesting that she is dodging her responsibilities because she is not sick is “inappropriate and not true.”
Several people have though that Clinton lied about her sickness to avoid testifying, including the former United Nations ambassador John Bolton and Rep. Allen West (R-FL). West surmised that Clinton caught the “Benghazi flu.” It is easy to understand why, considering the numerous lies that have come out surrounding the Benghazi attacks, including those from the State Department.
Last week the issued it’s report on the events that led up to the Benghazi attack. While they cited that the State Department lacked sufficient security, it lacked any evidence of actually holding anyone accountable and ultimately left more questions than it provided answers.
“When her day to testify comes, she should testify as a sitting Secretary of State,” Senator Graham said. “And she needs to be asked… about what she knew about the deteriorating circumstances in Benghazi.”Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com on Instagram.
