Scientists: Earth Needs Fewer People To Beat The Climate Crisis

Scientists call for ‘population control’ as they declare a worldwide climate emergency and claim failure to act will lead to ‘untold human suffering.’

To limit the damage caused by humans’ greenhouse gas emissions the document calls for more control over the massively booming global population, currently increasing by over 200,000 people a day. 

Adding that population control would have to be addressed with methods that ensured social and economic fairness in order to sustain a morally and ecologically sound environment. 


Forty years ago, scientists from 50 nations converged on Geneva to discuss what was then called the “CO2-climate problem.” At the time, with reliance on fossil fuels having helped trigger the 1979 oil crisis, they predicted global warming would eventually become a major environmental challenge.

The scientists got to work, building a strategy on how to attack the problem and laying the groundwork for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the world’s preeminent body of climate scientists. Their goal was to get ahead of the problem before it was too late. But after a fast start, the fossil fuel industry, politics and the prioritization of economic growth over planetary health slowed them down.

Our current birth rate in the United States is the lowest it’s been in 32 years. The fertility rate in the US is at a historic low, so low that the CDC is worried that it isn’t high enough to replace ourselves. America isn’t the problem here.

Their solutions are always mainly political in nature. Funny how Socialism seems to be their go-to cure for everything.
