Rep. John Conyers, who was elected his first term in 1965, and is the 2nd most senior representative of the House, stated his acceptance of illegal aliens in the US while speaking at a hearing on immigration policy in the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

“I hope no one uses the term ‘illegal immigrants’ here today.  Our citizens are not–  our....the people in this country are not 'illegal'.  They are 'out of status'.  They are 'new Americans that are immigrants', and I think that we can forge a path to citizenship that will be able to pass muster.”

Conyers is the same brilliant individual who mocked elected officials to actually read the bills they have before them.  I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill.  What good is reading the bill if it’s 1,000 pages, and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”

Clearly, Conyers has no issue with illegal aliens sucking the lifeblood out of the hard-earned American taxpayer dollars, making up a huge amount of violent offenders and other crimes for which they are incarcerated at our expense, will soon be a large make-up of Obamacare recipients, and have spurred huge illegal drug trafficking and catastrophic murder rates in border towns.

Conyers has been in Washington at least 47 years too long.  He has no concept of what is happening to his constituents or in the US as a whole.  I wonder if he'd be willing to give up his pension, or sweet income to fund the support of just one illegal alien.  I doubt it.
