Reality Check: RNC Is About To Shut Out All Grassroots Efforts

Ben Swann reports on a follow up to our own Cynthia Kennedy’s reports from last night as the RNC gets ready to vote on rules that will essentially silence the voice of the grassroots of the Republican party. This is something everyone who is a Republican needs to view and understand what is taking place.

According to the new rules that are to be voted on Tuesday, Mitt Romney would have unprecedented power in 2016, should he win the presidency in 2012. He can discard delegates at will and insert whomever he wishes. This makes a mockery of the entire delegation process.

Ben also asked Romney about the RNC stripping Maine delegates of their credentials. Did Romney answer honestly?
