Rand Paul Introduces Bill that would Guarantee Constitutional Rights to Unborn

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is running for President, but the campaign is not going so well right now. He’s fallen to the back of the pack (though some polls have him scoring near the middle of the field), and he’s working hard to remain relevant as primary voting begins in Iowa and New Hampshire next week. However, even as he runs two difficult campaigns (he’s also simultaneously running for reelection as Kentucky’s Senator), he somehow finds time to do his current job as well. While Marco Rubio can’t seem to be troubled to attend to his duties in the Senate, Paul continues to have one of the best voting records in Congress. However, he’s not just making appearances for the sake of making appearances, he’s actually still introducing and supporting important legislation as well.

Just in time for the annual March for Life, which took place on Friday, Senator Paul introduced new legislation that would ensure that pre-born children are accorded the same rights enjoyed by every other human in our country.

U.S. Senator Rand Paul today introduced the Life at Conception Act. The legislation would implement equal protection under the 14th Amendment for the right to life of each born and unborn human. The Life at Conception Act does not amend or interpret the Constitution, but simply relies on the 14th Amendment, which specifically authorizes Congress to enforce its provisions.

Amen, Senator Paul. Please call your representatives and instruct them to lend their full support to Senator Paul’s efforts. Our national sin is a disgrace, but our generation can be the one which stands up, chooses to defend life, and changes the world forever.
