Protesters Rush Doors of St Louis Police Dept – Stage “Die In” – Several Arrested

A Ferguson protest turned violent Wednesday.

Protesters in St. Louis charged the doors of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and refused to leave, leading to several arrests, Fox 2 St. Louis reports.

About 15 protesters entered the building with a list of demands. Things became violent when police tried to escort them out. Police pepper sprayed and arrested multiple protesters, according to the local news reports.

Mckesson's videos show protesters walking in chanting, "Hands up, don't shoot." Later, they can be seen sitting on the floor, hands raised chanting, "No justice, no peace." One video shows protesters fighting with officials to get through the doors while chanting, "This is what democracy looks like."

This may be part of a trend of aggression toward police. A man motivated by the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner killed two officers in New York City, and officers from Los Angeles to Florida have reported being fired at while sitting in their police cars.
