On Tuesday, Second Amendment-loving Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. beat City of Milwaukee Police Lt. Chris Moews in the Democratic primary for sheriff.
This victory is made even sweeter by the fact that former New York City Mayor and nanny-to-the-world Michael Bloomberg gave $150,000 to the Moews campaign for TV ads.

Appearing on Fox & Friends, Clarke said that Bloomberg is tone-deaf to Milwaukee politics:
“Mayor Bloomberg made a huge miscalculation. He didn’t understand the political climate on the ground here in Milwaukee County. I have a lot of support for my position on support for the Second Amendment, for people to be able to defend themselves and the pro-gun movement.”
NRA-backed Clarke came into the national spotlight with his strong belief of guns as personal protection.
After winning the primary, Clarke firmed up his fourth term as Milwaukee County Sheriff.
