One thing I have admired and enjoyed about Donald Trump in this past year is his willingness to just call things as he sees them. He didn't disappoint in his speech today either.
While there were a few things I disagreed with, much of which were things that are not his nor DC's job to be involved in, I like the tone that he called out Islamic terrorism, sought to care for his country first before any other country and seemed to care for average Americans.
First, he took the oath of office. Simple and short, as the Constitution demands.
Then Trump laid on a speech filled with patriotic and a splash of things that are not a part of constitutional authority. Take a listen to the speech.
