Senator Lindsey Graham may have been one of the bright spots in an otherwise bleak week on Capitol Hill, after announcing that one of the nation’s deepest and darkest modern mysteries could be solved as early as December 9th.
Graham all but guaranteed that, by that date, a report outlining the findings of the Department of Justice’s Investigator General would be released. This would detail a lengthy and thorough investigation into the “SpyGate” scandal, in which the FBI, under the Obama administration, was thought to have abused the process for issuing certain types of warrants in order to “spy” on the 2016 Trump campaign.
The President, during a wide ranging interview on Fox & Friends this morning, predicted that the results of this release would be “historic”.
In a phone interview on “Fox & Friends” with hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, the president said that his controversial July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was a “good conversation.”
“And these were their witnesses. This was the best they’ve got,” he continued, calling House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., a “sick puppy.”
Then came the big stuff…
“So, you have a FISA report coming out, which the word is, it’s historic. That’s what the word is That’s what I hear,” said Trump.
“Now, what you’re going to see, I predict, will be perhaps the biggest scandal in the history of our country,” the president continued, noting that he is letting Attorney General William Barr “handle it.”
This will certainly be a bee in the bonnet of the Democrats, however, as they look to sway the public opinion against President Donald Trump in order to drum up support for their ongoing impeachment charade.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
