Now this is the kind of America I grew up in, an America that wasn't scared and wimpy, but rather one in which her people looked after one another. While Obama's Department of Defense cowardly demands recruiting centers to remain unarmed and unguarded, even telling recruiters not to wear their uniforms, in the wake of the Chattanooga Islamic jihad attack, American citizens are standing up for those who have stood for them. These Americans are arming themselves and keeping watch over recruiting offices across the nation.
First, understand what the Marxist-in-chief's DOD is doing. According to the Associated Press:
"A day after a gunman shot and killed four Marines and wounded three other people in Chattanooga, Gen. Ray Odierno, chief of staff of the Army, told reporters that arming troops in those offices could cause more problems than it might solve.
""I think we have to be careful about over-arming ourselves, and I'm not talking about where you end up attacking each other," Odierno said during a morning breakfast. Instead, he said, it's more about "accidental discharges and everything else that goes along with having weapons that are loaded that causes injuries.""
…"In the wake of previous shootings at military facilities, the services have reviewed and strengthened security precautions at the centers. But most of those involve safety precautions and the need to be aware and watchful of surroundings.
"Odierno said that there are currently no plans to have security personnel posted at recruiting centers, but added that there will be a review. He said a notice went out Thursday to all Army locations reminding them of protection measures."
The Gateway Pundit reported, "On Friday evening ABC News Pentagon reporter Luis Martinez reported on Twitter the Marine Corps ordered recruiters to not wear their uniforms at work.

However, in Georgia, armed citizens, who aren't under the stupid and unconstitutional orders of the Department of Defense were not acting cowardly, but standing guard outside an Army recruitment office in Hiram, Georgia.
Concealed Nation reports:
"I teared up. I think any human being would be touched by what happened yesterday. Any U.S. citizen that has a heart and a soul to hear what had happened," said Crystal Tewellow, who organized the watch.
The watch was organized as a way to honor the fallen Marines in yesterday's attacks, and to protect the lives of those who serve and are unable to defend themselves in their offices.
"To think the people who are supposed to protect and serve us are unable to protect and serve… protect themselves," said Tewellow. "So if us, the citizens, who carry permits, are able to help protect them that's, that's what we're gonna be able to do."
Approximately 30 people answered a call to come and provide at least a one hour watch. However, Georgia wasn't the only place where American's were being vigilant.
In Virginia, one man took it upon himself to guard a US Armed Forces recruitment center.
At 8 a.m. Friday morning, one man decided to spend his day off standing guard outside of a military recruitment center in Winchester, Virginia.
He is not worried about another attack like Chattanooga here. But he is making a statement.
"People need to call their congressman, they need to call their senators and they need to change these laws that are on the books so these guys can protect themselves so a regular old citizen doesn't have to go out and do it," he told us.
The man asked to remain unidentified, but he said when he heard about the four Marines killed by a terrorist in Tennessee, he thought, "Here we go again."
"It's fundamental Muslim extremism," he said. "They declared war on us and we seem to not put it in perspective and realizing that the war is here."
Those under the insane orders to remain unarmed even though they are qualified to carry their arms not only by training, but also under the Second Amendment's protection of the very lives they stand to protect, showed their gratitude for the Virginia man.
"I went into each office, the ones that were open, and I was received with handshakes and thank yous," he said. "They constantly came by, and not only them, but their wives came by in tears thanking me for just being out here. They baked cookies for me and brought lunch by."
He then added by reminding his fellow Americans of one thing.
"We need to know what our rights are and not let anyone take them away," he said. "Too people died for these freedoms. I've never been in the military. I never served as law enforcement, but I certainly am grateful for those men and women who have died in past to secure those freedoms."
Not only are these civilians demonstrating a true love for their fellow man (1 John 3:18), but so are those who have served in our military honorably, like Marine Sergeant Jeremey Knauff and Marine veteran Nick Powers.
