Uh-oh. Another Presidential American has just been accused of meddling in foreign affairs, but this time there is definitive proof of his malfeasance.
No, I’m not talking about President Trump… it was former President Obama! (Gasp!) The former president just announced, publicly, that he was supporting Emmanuel Macron in the race for the French presidency.
Sure, Obama can’t vote in the upcoming election but when has legal voting status ever mattered to a Democrat?

“The French election is very important to the future of France and the values that we care so much about,” Obama said in the video. “Because the success of France matters to the entire world.”
“I have admired the campaign that Emmanuel Macron has run,” Obama said. “He has stood up for liberal values. He put forward a vision for the important role that France plays in Europe and around the world, and he is committed to a better future for the French people. He appeals to people’s hopes and not their fears. …
“Because of how important this election is, I also want you to know that I am supporting Emmanuel Macron to lead you forward. En Marche! Vive la France.” En Marche! (Onward) refers to the political party founded by Macron last year, an independent coalition that seeks to blend the fiscal responsibility of the right with the social liberalism of the left.
It is unusual for former U.S. presidents to weigh in publicly on the domestic politics of foreign countries, even historic allies like France.
Sadly, Obama has chosen to ignore precedent and propriety and has decided that he just has to weigh in on things that aren’t any of his business. Like the election in France. But this is just a continuation of years of bad Obama policies. Last year, he also had to have a say in the British people’s decision to leave the European Union. If you remember Obama implored the British people to remain in the EU, for the good of the world… a request the Brits ignored (thankfully).
“I think it’s fair to say that maybe [at] some point down the line there might be a U.S.-U.K. trade agreement, but it’s not going to happen any time soon because our focus is in negotiating with a big bloc, the European Union, to get a trade agreement done. The U.K. is going to be in the back of queue,” Obama argued.
Obama also led an awful effort to unseat Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
A new report posted today by the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI), led by chair Rob Portman (R-OH) confirms that the U.S. State Department funded an Israeli political organization that later ran a campaign dedicated to ousting Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The group, OneVoice, has drawn media scrutiny that led to this investigation.
The one common theme to Obama’s meddling thus far? He always loses. With that being the case, one wonders if Emmanuel Macron is worrying about getting Obama’s full-throated support for his candidacy? Macron should be worried because Obama’s endorsement is usually the “kiss of death” in foreign elections.
