There are times when we hear people say things, and we wonder where they get such nonsense from. How could they draw the conclusion that they have on the subject? It is almost as if these people are stupid, or they think that their audience is stupid. I will let you decide which is the case.
Combating climate change will prove to be a rebuttal of terrorist efforts, President Barack Obamadeclared at the opening of a major climate summit in Paris.
"What greater rejection of those who would tear down our world than marshaling our best efforts to save it," Obama said Monday at the COP21 conference, being held at a highly secured site outside the French capital two weeks after ISIS terrorists carried out a bloody rampage.
So, if I understand correctly, Obama is telling world leaders that the conference they were attending was the best answer to the Paris attacks, Either as a show of defiance or lack of fear in the face of ISIS brutality, or the effects the conference will have on the world situation. Both are pretty far fetched. How is a conference on a fake weather pattern going to deter ISIS?
"We have come to Paris to show our resolve," Obama said, saying he offered condolences to the French people.
This means that Obama either truly believes that Global Warming is a major factor in the creation of Muslim violence or he completely misunderstands this situation. But, there are those who believe that it is neither. They feel that there is another motive involved.
Leave aside Obama's arrogance here – he was supposed to speak for three minutes and spoke for fourteen. Leave aside his pathetic apologetics for the American economy, the planetary driver for economic growth since the turn of the 20th century — Obama said he had come "personally as the leader of the world's largest economy and the second largest emitter to say the USA not only recognizes our role in creating this problem, we embrace our responsibility to do something about it." Focus instead on Obama's prioritization: he believes that what he's doing in Paris right now is of far more global importance than what he does to stop Russian aggression in the Middle East, or to stop ISIS's terror campaign, or to stop the devolution of American global power. That's not an aberration. That's a fundamental part of the leftist philosophy from which he springs. As Paul Krugman of The New York Times wrote just days after the Paris massacre, "Sorry, conservatives: when President Obama describes climate change as the greatest threat we face, he's exactly right. Terrorism can't and won't destroy our civilization, but global warming could and might."
Ben Shapiro, who wrote the piece for Breitbart, has pointed out the fact that this was, and is, the plan. Obama and those who are in the know on the Liberal Left, have been seeking to do what the President has been doing. They wish to see things continue in the direction that they are heading. They blame America for most if not all the problems plaguing the world today. Just like the Liberals in Britain almost a century ago, it is our power and economic might that is corrupting the world and turning it against us.
But, the problem is that there is no proof that this is true. It is at most a theory. The earth is not getting warmer, and the climate changes constantly. Even if the temperature was rising as they predicted it should, there is no proof that we are to blame. Besides, the Muslim does not care, and will continue to do his worst while our leaders meet and talk.
Our own foolishness will be our undoing.
