Obama Campaign Manger: Romney & Ryan Are “Entire Reason” Benghazi Attacks Are National Issue

Good grief! The Obama administration will come up with anything they can to blame everyone but the people responsible for the attacks in Libya. Thursday on CNN, Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter managed to put out the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard and yes it is beyond “You didn’t build that” and the “We never blamed Libya Attacks on a video” claim from the State Department.

In speaking with Brooke Baldwin about the attack in Libya, that took the life of a U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans, Cutter actually said:

In terms of the politicization of this — you know, we are here at a debate, and I hope we get to talk about the debate — but the entire reason this has become the political topic it is, is because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. It’s a big part of their stump speech. And it’s reckless and irresponsible what they’re doing.

It’s a political topic, not only because it happened within two months of a presidential election, but because an American consulate was attacked and the American people were told it was all over a stupid video! Romney and Ryan have nothing to do with this. Sure they are using it for a political advantage, but more than that the incident along with the various other incidents that happened that same week where our embassies throughout the Middle East are fair game in demonstrating terrible foreign policy.

After the interview, Buzzfeed’s Andrew Kaczynski tweeted what Cutter had said, so she responded.

To point at Romney as though he should have a plan on this issue when it occurred under the guy in office now is just ridiculous. It’s like a little kid dropping his ice cream because he wasn’t paying attention and then blaming another kid on the other side of the playground. What will they come up with next?
