I truly thought President Obama's commencement speech to the West Point graduates was about the worst, until I saw a transcript of the Vice President's similar admonition to the graduating class of the Air Force Academy.
"COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Under a blazing sun, Vice President Joe Biden challenged graduating Air Force Academy cadets on Wednesday to help create a new world order for the 21st century.
'I believe we and mainly you have an incredible opportunity to lead in shaping a new world order for the 21st century in a way consistent with American interests and common interests.'
'First and foremost our work begins by rebuilding America's foundations, our economic foundations, our moral and strategic foundations,' he told cadets."
It is generally accepted that our use of the term "New World Order" was popularized by President Woodrow Wilson in his call for our national interests to be submissive to a world governing body called the League of Nations. Of course that failed, eventually to be replaced by our United Nations. Through it, the promotion of a world governing body continues, as its membership is dominated by what Mr. Biden calls "common" interests, rather than "American" interests. So today, the term "New World Order" refers to the emergence of a totalitarian world government, in which the United States, being severely outnumbered, will play only a minor role -- just like we do now in the United Nations organization.
We have all seen evidences of Mr. Biden's not being the sharpest knife in the drawer. But are we to believe that the Vice President really doesn't know the history of, or the general understanding of, the term "New World Order"?
Maybe he does. Maybe I just underestimate him. We know the importance the Administration places on being able to create, and thus manipulate, a political crisis. "All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order," said Trilateral Commission Founder, David Rockefeller. Is it possible that the Vice President has just sent up a trial balloon to introduce the Cloward-Piven crisis strategy onto the world stage?
I have presented it previously in these columns, but the Cloward-Piven strategy is about creating enough chaos, usually economic, so there will be an excuse for the government to take control. The "government," in this instance, would be the "New World Order," perhaps under the guise of the United Nations. How else do we explain the number of foreign policy catastrophes Mr. Obama has created -- in the Middle East, in Eastern Europe, in Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Africa, and elsewhere? Could it all be part of plan? Planned chaos?
Mr. Obama is literally redefining right and wrong. Creating or violating his own laws, at will, both at home and abroad. Nobody has ever described Mr. Obama as being stupid. Deceitful, conniving, egotistical, corrupt, etc., etc., but not stupid. Is his current foreign policy confusion an unintended consequence of his ineptness, or is that his actual goal?
When Mr. Biden describes "rebuilding America's foundations," is that his way of confirming the President's stated objective to ". . . fundamentally transform the United States of America," and possibly the world?
And if so, how's that been working out for ya' so far?Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter. You can also get Freedom Outpost delivered to your Amazon Kindle device here.
