Obama Attempts to Unite Fractured Democrat Party by Dropping 2020 Endorsement

Barack Obama may very well be the last ever US President from the modern Democratic Party…at least at the rate that the organization is going these days.

You see, the left’s political organization is fractured today, split in two, but not right down the middle.  Instead, the heavily weighted far left is breaking off from the mainland after years of toil and turmoil, and several intensely scrutinized schemes in which the centrist establishment has outright rigged elections against them.  In 2020, this was epitomized by the battle between former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

And now that Sanders dropped from the race and swiftly endorsed Biden, there are but two questions left to ask:  Will the far left’s rage at this endorsement ensure a landslide victory for Donald Trump, and how did Bernie beat Barack Obama to endorsing Sleepy Joe?

Apparently, that latter concern was shared by several important Democrats, and No. 44 raced to endorse his former veep on Tuesday.

“If there’s one thing we’ve learned as a country from moments of great crisis, it’s that the spirit of looking out for one another can’t be restricted to our homes or our workplaces, or our neighborhoods or our houses of worship. It also has to be reflected in our national government,” Obama said in a nearly 12-minute video message that touched on the coronavirus pandemic.

“The kind of leadership that’s guided by knowledge and experience, honesty and humility, empathy and grace,” he continued. “That kind of leadership doesn’t just belong in our state capitols and mayor’s offices. It belongs in the White House. And that’s why I’m so proud to endorse Joe Biden for president of the United States.”

The news comes as the Biden campaign finally formally recognized a credible sexual assault claim against the candidate, which has been largely ignored by the mainstream media over the course of the last two weeks.
