Obama Admin’s revealing of CIA Station Chief’s Identity – Simple Stupidity or Just another Act of Treason?

I have mentioned that I am second generation military intelligence. After my military service I managed to get involved with various aspects of what I always think of as “the alphabet soup” in Washington D.C. and other interesting places.

When I worked overseas in Iran and Saudi and such places, the term “station chief” was never spoken in mixed company. Every “station” has a chief who is typically the hardest working person at the embassy because he / she typically holds two jobs: “station chief” and normally some sort of “attache for some point of interest.” I have had the pleasure of meeting one or two of these fine folks in my travels and was impressed with their intelligence and pleasant personality.

Back in my day, the station chief was the pivot man in all things and I imagine that the job description may have changed since then, but the job itself is pretty much the same. The station chief knew who all the players in the area were, who was approachable and who was not, who could be bought and who could not, and other nice things such as people to know in order to maintain our position and to facilitate our agenda in whatever neighborhood.  Such knowledge cuts both ways. Those who are not our allies would do nearly anything to gain such information and those who are our allies would do almost anything to keep that information from being shared. And the keeper of all that information, the identity of “the station chief” is the most sacred and closely guarded information in the world of international diplomacy and intelligence gathering.

It was convenient for the Obama regime to trot out former White House National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor with his nonchalant “Dude, that was two years ago!” response as an example of the caliber of individual the regime places in positions of great responsibility. But even Tommy “The Dude” Vietor is not so blatantly stupid as to actually commit to paper the identity of a “station chief”; an act that simply exceeds the ability of one to believe.

That, to me at least, leaves but one possible conclusion: deliberate treason.

Mr. Obama and his regime have proudly and unfalteringly proclaimed its support of the Muslim Brotherhood to the extent of appointing a number of members of the Muslim Brotherhood to sensitive key positions in the administration to include positions related to the nations defenses.

One of the primary objectives of the Muslim Brotherhood is the total destruction of “the Great Satan”; i.e. the United States of America. The Muslim Brotherhood has been declared a terrorist organization by its country of birth – Egypt.

So as America prepares to once again tuck its tail and run from a war we were never allowed to win, Mr. Obama makes a personal visit to the area and presents his beloved Muslim Brotherhood a parting gift – the identity of our station chief, thereby totally dismantling any residual ability we may have had to stay informed of the activities of our sworn enemies.

Simple stupid error? A blatant act of treason?

Like so many things about this illegal regime and its enigma of a leader, I am sure we will never really know.

But this I do know. Once again lives will be lost and that too we will never really be able to prove.
