North Korea: “U.S. Interference in the Internal Affairs of Other Countries is a Criminal Act”

I don’t have much respect for the leader of North Korea. I think Kim Jong-Il is young and cocky and he is going to get a lot of innocent people killed at some point. Therefore, I feel it is prudent to check North Korean news occasionally. If they are threatening another launch, I at least want to know it’s a possibility. Tonight I ran into a short blurb that I thought some people might like to read.

If North Korea feels this way then it appears that Obama is fooling absolutely no one, except for a large number of Americans who seem to worship him.

I feel like tonight, although I don’t agree 100% with every word, I was treated to more truth from the North Korean state-controlled media than I normally get from our domestic mainstream media. Read this short piece and see if you agree.

Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) — The U.S. interference in the internal affairs of other countries is a criminal act that can never be justified since it aims at bringing down the governments and social systems of legitimate and sovereign countries. Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in an article: The U.S. interfered in other countries under the slogans of “promotion of democracy”, “guarantee of freedom”, “safeguard of human rights” and “anti-terrorism”. However, the slogans are nothing but a deception to cover up its sinister intention. The U.S. regards it as a legal right to interfere in other countries. In essence, the interference is to topple the governments and social systems of those countries it doesn’t favor. It deprives other countries of their right to choose their own way and compels them to follow its instructions. It is the U.S. ambition to dominate the whole world by changing the social systems of all countries to its taste. The U.S. interference has caused serious situation in many countries. Disputes and conflicts have been sparked off, disturbing peace and security.

The situation demands the anti-imperialist countries maintain the independent stand and build up its own muscle to smash the U.S. interference.

What do you think? Did they nail it? I think it is pretty close to what is going on with the Obama administration now. The question is… If the whole world can see it, why is half of our country (or more) blind to it?

There are about 7 billion people in this world and, though we talk a lot about Muslim Extremists, the truth is that most of those 7 billion people wouldn’t mind if we were all dead. Obama’s foreign policy is a disgrace. He seems to have actually lowered the bar for future presidents and that is saying a lot. I wasn’t a big fan of the foreign policies of other recent presidents either.

You have to consider the source, but sometimes even our staunchest critics are right.

I’d love to hear your opinions…
