New York Times caves to radical left, changes headline seen as ‘positive’ for President

At times, 2019 has been just plain bananas, especially for the land of the free.

Here in America, we are seeing citizens completely ignore the Constitution, the golden rule, and all common decency in order to disparage their political opponents.  People are seething, foaming at the mouth.  It’s Team A versus Team B, no matter what, and you can’t be caught compromising with one another or being too kind.

This has led us down some dark and absurd cultural paths in which expressing gratitude for the wrong person can get you run out of town by a mob.

Such is the case today as the New York Times was forced to reissue their paper after a headline was deemed too nice to President Trump – despite its absolute accuracy.

The far-left New York Times caved to the leftist Twitter mob with a major switch in headlines between its first and second editions.

The first print edition’s headline read, “Trump Urges Unity Vs. Racism.”

But after the Blue Checkmark Mafia freaked out, the Times caved with a late edition headline that reads, “Assailing Hate But Not Guns.”

That’s right, folks:  A completely accurate headline was removed from print because it gave President Trump praise for something that he actually did.  That’s the sort of backwards, bizarro-world time-slip that 2019 has become.

We are living in a post-truth world, at least when we allow one political ideology to control what parts of reality we experience.

As the left continued to lament the Times for their allegedly loathsome language, #CancelNYT began trending on Twitter.
