According to a translation from France TVinfo:
Spain: a migrant boat docks on a beach crowded with tourists They ran between towels and sandpits.
Several dozen migrants landed on a beach of the Germans, in Cádiz (Spain), Wednesday, August 9, provoking the surprise of the tourists.
In a video broadcast on Twitter by a witness of the scene, we see a dark boat arrive on the shore, while its occupants rush to the land.
Many swimsuit tourists were on their way.
Others watched them in the distance, from the water or the sandy beach.
According to the online newspaper El Confidential, there have been as many migrant arrivals in the area where the scene took place in the first quarter of 2017 as it was throughout 2016.
According to the Real Instituto Elcano, A Spanish laboratory of ideas cited by El Confidential, this increase is due to an increasingly difficult crossing of the Mediterranean from Libya to Italy.
It’s interesting to watch the reaction of the sunbathers as they nonchalantly stroll down the beach as what appears to be a couple of dozen migrants leap from their boat and run across the beach, apparently attempting to get clear of their landing spot as soon as possible.
Additionally, there were nearly 200 that ran through a border post, as well.
What was most interesting is that while there were all these concerns raised by those who were supposed to be protecting the border, once the migrants were in and apprehended, they were taken to a reception center and not deported, but allowed to apply for asylum in Spain.
Lest you think this is only taking place in Europe, the US has also seen this on a regular basis.
In 2015, during the infamous Gang of Eight’s push to ram through a stupid immigration policy, a model was being filmed for a fashion shoot on a Florida beach in Miami by Ekaterina Juskowski.
However, the camera caught more than a dark-haired beauty.
It caught a group of nine illegal aliens leaping from their boat and rushing the Florida shoreline.
At that time, U.S. Border Patrol spokesperson Frank Miller said, “That’s a testament to how confident these organizations are — what we call transnational criminal organizations — who smuggle criminals and narcotics right onto the beach.” He said the incident was under investigation and noted, “There has been an increase in known maritime smuggling in Florida — from Key West all along the Florida coast — from fiscal year 2014 to now.”
Miller said that the Florida coastline is so vast that “it’s impossible to cover with just Border Patrol agents,” so the agency works closely with the Coast Guard, other law enforcement agencies, and foreign allies. Even so, “it’s difficult to get a solid level of situational awareness on what’s coming in.”
It is not unusual for migrants to strip identifying numbers off their boats and, once close to shore, just jump off and leave the boat abandoned. Experts believe the migration is driven by organized trafficking rings, who pool clients in the Bahamas, Jamaica, or Haiti; bring them to the Florida coast; and coordinate with people already living here who tell them when and where to come ashore and help the migrants get settled.
While I grant that there are many who probably are seeking a better life, and maybe even fleeing persecution, many of these come go into other countries this way are not only violating the immigration laws, but will eventually break numerous other laws in the process.Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
