"There are new charges relating to her relationship to her father," said the source. "Possibly to prove that she is Muslim, but nothing has been served so it's unclear."

Muslim relatives intend to take her to court to prove that she belongs to their family, according to Ibrahim's supporters. The new charges were filed in a Sudanese family court, with a trial date set for Thursday, according to her attorneys.

"I was never a Muslim," she told the Sudanese high court during her apostasy trial. "I was raised a Christian from the start."

Ibrahim's father was a Muslim, who abandoned his family when she was just a little girl. Her mother was an Ethiopian Christian.

Furthermore, Ibrahim is a Christian and lives with her husband, Daniel Wani, who is also a Christian, in the United States.

So what is the issue? She is a Christian in a Muslim land, period. She has denied knowing those claiming to be relatives. According to the Guardian, she is invested in a hair salon, mini-mart and agricultural land and this is the apparent motive behind these charges.

Currently, the family is held up in the US Embassy, but for now they are together, including the family's newest edition, Maya.

The previous charges of adultery, marrying a man who is not Muslim, brought the death penalty under Islamic Shariah. Because of these new charges, she is forbidden from leaving the Sudan.

"The government of Sudan has raised a number of issues related to [Ibrahim's] travel and identification documents," said a State Department spokesperson.

Al Samani Al Hadi Mohamed Abdullah, Ibrahim's "brother," claims that by releasing Meriam to her husband, she was "kidnapped" and that she should have been released into the custody of her "family" there, obviously so they could engage in honor killing. After all, that is what they are after: Her death. Think that's a stretch? Abdullah even called for her execution in June because she had abandoned Islam, and note his recent comments below.

However, Meriam has never been a Muslim as she has stated on several occasions. When faced with the penalty of execution she courageously said, "If they want to execute me then they should go ahead and do it because I'm not going to change my faith."

"They did not let us know that she was about to be freed," he told the newspaper. "It was a surprise for us."

"Our family is not convinced by the decision of the court," he said. "The law has failed to maintain our rights, and now it is a matter of honor. Christians deface our honor, and we know how to take revenge for that."

See? I told you. This has nothing to do with justice. These cowardly men are seeking to draw blood from Meriam because she doesn't follow the demonic religion of Islam and its false prophet. Islamic Shariah is about as unjust as you can be. This is about Islamic supremacy, nothing more and nothing less.
