The wild conjecture of the liberal left has reached a new peak today, just hours removed from Robert Mueller’s long-awaited testimony on Capitol Hill.
Mueller, who was vocally reluctant to participate in such a hearing, will be speaking to the House Judiciary Committee at length on Wednesday, with democrats openly hoping that his testimony will provide a boost to their impeachment desires. For republicans, the testimony will be a chance to ask tough questions regarding the impetus of the “RussiaGate” investigation – a subject that many believe will further exonerate President Trump.
Nancy Pelosi has long stood in the way of impeachment, believing that a failed impeachment would set the stage for Donald Trump’s landslide electoral victory in 2020.
But other democrats aren’t seeing eye to eye with Madam Speaker, including Maxine Waters, who this week was calling for even harsher punishments for Donald Trump.
“The Judiciary members have a good plan to force more info out of Mueller when he testifies before the committee. If this works, this will give us the ammunition we need to start impeachment immediately,” she tweeted. “Michael Cohen is serving 3 yrs for the crimes that he committed w/ and for the President of the USA. Many are wondering why this case was closed. It ain’t over until it’s over & it ain’t over until Trump is held responsible for all of his crimes. Impeachment first, prison next!”
Waters has long been a firebrand within the democratic party, and has no qualms using the language of the radical left to impose democratic hostilities on the nation at large.
At a speaking event last year, Waters implored her constituents to form mobs, and to make conservatives feel “unwelcome” wherever they may be. This led to a string of harassment aimed at administration officials, including an ugly incident in Virginia where then-Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was forced to flee a family restaurant as “resistance” types refused to let her dine in peace.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
