MAGA MAYHEM: Portland drunks attack Trump supporter over iconic hat

Not since the Civil War has America been so wholly divided and disparate.

Today we see throngs of Americans banding together to battle one another in the streets. ¬†Antifa on the left, the MAGA faithful on the right, all clashing in order to prove which of their often-crooked, ultra wealthy “public servants” are doing a better job. ¬†It’s ridiculous, divisive, and simply tribalistic.

It’s also highly un-American.

The latest outburst in this cultural cesspool of division comes to us, again, from Portland, Oregon where a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat was savagely brutalized for his support of the President.

Portland police say a man and woman were arrested early Saturday morning for assault, and the man who was attack says it’s all because of his “Make America Great Again” hat.

At around 12:50 a.m., officers responded to the report of a disturbance at the Growler’s Taproom, located in the 3300 block of Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard.

At the scene, officers located Luke Lenzner with injuries to his face.

Lenzner told FOX 12 that he and his wife were on a date night. He said right when they got there, they were attacked outside the patio by people upset about the hat.

“I got mobbed by everybody that was in that bar outside. People came from the inside out – just circled me and my wife,” said Lenzner.

Police have indicated that Lenzner did not strike back against his attackers.

This is just the latest in a long string of MAGA hat-related assaults that have taken place during President Trump’s first term in office.
