Political violence may very well become the scourge of American society in the coming months, and the radical left doesn’t seem to mind one bit.
Not since the Civil War has our nation been so viscerally divided. The election of Donald Trump was certainly a watershed moment in this downward spiral, and has been exacerbated by the sensationalism of the modern mainstream media. Their constant attacks on the Commander in Chief, as well as their hyperbolic rhetoric, have led to instances of mischievous and violent behavior by liberal constituents the nation over, including the further radicalization of domestic terror groups such as Antifa.
Even outside of this hive-mind of these groups, the political prejudice runs deep, with a number of Trump supporters finding themselves on the receiving end of leftist brutality.
One man in New York City recently described his harrowing experience at the hands of these progressive punks.
A New Jersey resident says he was beaten by over a dozen people in the Chinatown district of New York City for donning a pro-Trump campaign “MAGA” baseball hat, asking police to find his alleged attackers in a press conference Thursday.
42-year-old Jahangir Turan, owner of the David Parker Art Gallery, suffered a large black eye after he was reportedly attacked by the mob on Canal Street at around 7:30 p.m. local time Tuesday.
Turan told officers that he bought the red cap at Trump Tower shortly before his assault. He said he was punched in the face and then had his head slammed into a metal scaffolding.
“One girl flipped my hat, and then within five, eight seconds, I got pushed from the back and my face hit the scaffolding pole,” he told CBS New York.
Turan perfectly surmised why this sort of fringe behavior is so damning.
“It’s sad to get beat up for wearing this hat. This is America.”
