This is an example of what liberals are saying because of the Hobby Lobby decision courtesy of Craigslist:
- Expertise v. Ideology
"More particularly, LARCS (Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives) such as implants and IUD's may be preferable for women who require highly effective methods, who wish to postpone pregnancy for an extended periods of time or need a method without the user taking regular action once it is initiated. Emergency contraception pills or devices are used by women to prevent pregnancy after rape, unprotected sex, or the failure of some other contraceptive. ACOG Opinion 542 at 1250 (5)."
(5) "None of the FDA-approved emergency contraceptives or IUD's cause abortion; rather, they prevent unintended pregnancy from occurring and thereby prevent situations in which a woman may consider abortion."
Still want to triumph ideology over science? Consider the other side of this debacle.
"In 2008, the Vatican reaffirmed its objection to in-vitro fertilization." (editor's note, women who want to become pregnant) [Instruction Dignitas Personae on certain Bioethical Questions (2008). www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20081208_dignitas-personae_en.html] (continuing) "If a religious exception is permitted, a corporate employer in an in-vitro mandated state may nevertheless object to covering such treatment if its owners have objection to such treatment."
But why rely on science? Ask any female whether they consider an IUD to be an abortive device?
This ruling is not narrow by any stretch. It is yet another plank of the pier on a) the further subjugation of women's rights and b) the affirmation of the power of the few over the rights of the many. And to think that every judicial nomination hearing attempts to falsely decry "judicial activism."
Well, please allow me to retort.
That darn Supreme Court....how dare they! Who do they think they are? Voting 5-4, in favor of Hobby Lobby. Now, if you want to kill your unborn child, you have to pay for it yourself? I guess the court did get it right and realized that abortion is not "healthcare" or "birth control." Hobby Lobby has for years, paid for birth control for female employees, nothing new there. Hobby Lobby provides more than 15 birth control methods through their health care plan, they always have, they always will.
What they won't provide, is the morning after pill, and the 3 other abortive drugs Hobby Lobby argued against are not birth control. Abortion is not birth control.
It is not a "constitutional right" to make someone else pay when you decide to murder your baby. Pay for your own mistakes, with your own money. If you don't have any money, Planned Parenthood and many others will pay for your stupid mistakes, and give away birth control for free. They absolutely do not have a problem with killing unborn babies
There is no "war on women," the only "war" going on right now, is a war against the U.S .working taxpayer, "we" (the people who actually pay taxes) are being assaulted by our own government. But, like Joe Biden says, "It's 'patriotic' to pay your taxes."
Hillary, the National Organization for Women, and other liberal groups are flat out liars, only telling part of the story about the Supreme Court decision and Hobby Lobby.
No women lost any "rights," healthcare options, or services due to the Supreme Court vote. All that changed is that some businesses will not have to pay or provide health care benefits, for 4 types of abortive measures. The 16 birth control options are unchanged.
Obamacare is the worst thing ever to happen to women's choice, the ACA is a giant government over-reach. Talk about losing health care choices for women! Latest polls show over 65% of Americans want this program repealed or replaced. This court case was only filed, do to Obamacare. This month's score card reads because of Supreme Court votes = American Taxpayers + 4, and the Obama Administration, zero.
Why do liberals lie so darn much ....do "facts" just not matter to them at all...or are they really that desperate?"
