Koran Burning Florida Pastor Terry Jones Arrested On 9/11/13 Before…

Florida Pastor Terry Jones was arrested Wednesday on 9/11/13. Why? In his possession, he had a grill loaded with 2,998 copies of the Koran soaked in kerosene. That is one copy of the Muslim holy book for each person killed in the 9/11 attacks. Nothing was out in the open and nothing happened. And yet he was arrested anyway. What gives?

Pastor Terry Jones has never shied away from his stand on Islam. He has never cowered to the pressure of law enforcement, and namely the Obama Administration’s pressure to stop burning Korans. He has stood his ground, and now law enforcement officials will demand he pays a price for it. What he is paying for is his Christian faith and the audacity to speak out against the evils of Islam in a world held hostage by political correctness.

Why was Pastor Terry Jones arrested? He never lit a fire. According to his own account, he was on his way to a park to burn the Korans with his associate Pastor, Marvin Sapp Jr. He never made it to the park. They were stopped before they could get there. Jones was charged with “unlawful transporting fuel” and for “misdemeanor unlawful open carry of a firearm.” Sapp was charged with not having a valid registration for the trailer they were using.

This is all nonsense. Jones has been a target of the Obama Administration since 2010, when his plans to burn 50 copies of the Koran gained international attention. Former General David Petraeus went so far as to say that Jones’s plan would endanger troops in Afghanistan.

At the time, Jones had this to say, “We understand the General’s concerns. We are sure that his concerns are legitimate.” Nonetheless, he added, “We must send a clear message to the radical element of Islam. We will no longer be controlled and dominated by their fears and threats.”

This is how Islam operates through fear, intimidation, and brutality. They use every opportunity to terrorize the “infidels” in all parts of the world. Anyone who will not submit to Sharia will pay with his or her life. As the rebels are demanding in Syria of Christians right now, to submit to Islam or die. End of subject.

Interestingly, the Islam creed sounds almost identical to the radical leftist’s playbook, namely Obama Administration tactics. Fear, intimidation, and threats. This is Islam in a nutshell and in an Administration that is openly working to take away the God given rights of the people, this is also how Washington operates.

The reason for Terry Jones’s arrest is simple. He was within his First Amendment rights to free speech, regardless of what deputies have to say about the matter. He was being intolerant toward a “religion of peace.”

In Mulberry, Florida, an interfaith event took place to counter Terry Jones. Organizer Suzanne Carter started “Not in Mulberry” to show the world her community is about more than Terry Jones’ closed-minded Quran burning. Her planned counter-protest merged with Unity Day USA and became something greater.

Pastor Terry Jones stands in direct opposition to the world’s call to “unity” and “peace.” And for this he is being persecuted. He is calling Islam out for what it is, a religion of intolerance and hate. But this is the antithesis of the world’s message of acceptance of all religions except Christianity, and undeniably Judaism. There are limits to tolerance.

In 2008, American troops burned Bibles in Afghanistan. The U.S. Defense Department feared the Bibles would be used to convert Afghans.

In a blatant display of hypocrisy, Military rules forbid troops from proselytizing in the country. Lt. Col. Mark Wright said in 2009, “The decision was made that it was a ‘force protection’ measure to throw them away because, if they did get out, it could be perceived by Afghans that the U.S. government or the U.S. military was trying to convert Muslims.”

There was no outrage accompanying the burning of the Bibles. As columnist Todd Starnes said in 2012, “If you burn a Bible – silence. But if you burn a Koran, the Obama administration will send private letters of apology – and public condemnations.”

Thus, Terry Jones faces prosecution for the attempted burning of Korans. But if it was the Bible being burned, would anyone even utter a word of condemnation? It’s doubtful. We are rapidly becoming the United States of Islam and everyone turns a blind eye.
