John Bolton’s Chances of Being Subpoenaed Dramatically Increase This Week

The latest push for impeachment by the “resistance”-minded Democrats is now hinging upon President Trump’s foreign policy work, and those within that circle of government could soon find themselves in the crosshairs.

At the center of the story is Ukraine – a tiny European nation who relies on US aid in order to keep the Russian military at bay, and whose energy industry has deep ties to Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President and current 2020 candidate Joe Biden.

Giuliani had been trying to investigate the Biden family’s activity in Ukraine. While then-Vice President Joe Biden led the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy, his son Hunter was on the board of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma.

Bolton maintained a fairly notorious reputation during his career in Washington, with many political observers painting the longtime West Wing staple as an unrivaled war hawk.
