Hundreds Arrested in Major Child Sex Ring Bust – Community Leaders, Clergy & Elite Businessmen

Two hundred thirty-eight community leaders, clergy and elite businessmen were busted recently during a two-month operation that targeted child predators.  The list of those arrested included a monk and an Australian businessman, as well as entertainers and other community leaders.

Operation Broken Heart III was conducted by the Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes against Children Task Force. Deputy Chief Matt Blake of the Los Angeles Police Department said that the task force “targeted offenders wanted for the sexual exploitation of children, child prostitution, sex tourism and possessing and distributing child pornography.”

Acting Special Agent in Charge for US Homeland Security John Reynolds said that the arrests were made during sweeps that occurred during April and May.

“The incidence of child sexual exploitation has reached staggering proportions,” Reynolds said at a news conference.  “Parents and kids need to have frank conversations about how to stay safe in cyberspace.”

Two men listed in the arrests including a Buddhist monk from Riverside, California named Kounzong Saebphang, 26.  He had been under investigation since last year when information was received that he was possibly distributing child pornography.

Federal investigators searched the Wat Lao Buddhist Monastery in Riverside and discovered at least on digital device among his belongings that contained child pornography.  Prosecutors also claim that he was distributing child porn to another person via social media.

Another individual named was Michael Quinn, 33, who traveled from Australia to Los Angeles to buy a 6-year-old boy for sex.

According to prosecutors, agents met Quinn on a social media networking site saying that he wanted to “meet up with a dad who shares his young one.”

Quinn went to a hotel in Los Angeles, where he planned to meet and party with three other child predators and engage in sex with boys, prosecutors said. Instead, undercover agents were waiting inside the hotel room.
“Quinn explained to the undercover agent he was hoping to meet ‘other pervs’ in the U.S. and ultimately agreed to pay a human trafficker $250 to provide him with a young boy with whom he could engage in illicit sex,” according to the U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles.

Once money was exchanged from Quinn to an agent, who posed as a sex trafficker, he was arrested.

Since President Donald Trump took office, we have been seeing a ton of arrests involving human trafficking.

In March, a former Democrat mayor pled guilty to raping a 4-year-old girl.

In April, a top Army General was arrested in a pedophile ring bust.

Also in March, we reported that Attorney General Jeff Sessions came in the crosshairs of the Deep State when he started going after pedophiles.

Just a month after he took office, President Trump’s administration took credit for 1,500 human trafficking busts, compared to 400 in one year under the Obama administration.

Good!  Finally, some people are being taken off the streets for engaging in this behavior.  The question now is, will there actually be any justice for those who were committing the crimes, or will we continue to see the people fleeced to upkeep the private and public prison systems which are nothing more than an injustice to the community and those who commit the crime?
