No, seriously, this is what passes as OK language on social media these days. Anything from people threatening to assassinate the president, be it a Republican or a Democrat, to the blatant Androphobia in the latest tweet by Huffington Post editor Emily McCombs.
Like most moronic posts, her tweet came back to bite her and she deleted it, but as I've pointed out before, the internet never forgets. Here's her tweet.
New Year’s resolutions:
1. Cultivate female friendships
2. Band together to kill all men
If it wasn't bad enough, look at the retweets and likes from those that approve of her rabid feminism.
The Daily Caller reports:
In the post, she talks about her own son, saying, “(o)f course, we all want to raise feminist sons. I wrote an article a few months ago detailing the ways I try to do just that. But my efforts are starting to seem like grains of sand against a steady wave-crash of misogyny and rape culture.”
She continues, “In my previous article, I wrote, ‘In my sweat-soaked, sit-straight-up-in-bed feminist nightmares, I can imagine a future in which my own spawn makes some woman feel as voiceless as the boys in my high school once did, a world in which he blithely argues against the existence of male privilege and shit-talks the latest all-female remake on Twitter.’ Lately, I can imagine it even more clearly.”
McCombs’ has also tweeted similarly inflammatory anti-male sentiments in the past:
Filed my nails into sharp little points last night so that I may spear and devour the hearts of men.

Can we have a day without men tomorrow?

I question whether Ms. McCombs is fit, much less able, to raise any child, girl or boy. How can you list that you want to band together to kill all men and not include her son and the father of her child? Seems like it might just something child protective services should investigate.
After all, she says she is "Sensitive about her sh*t" and she seems to be just fine promoting the mentally ill behavior of lesbianism and other sexual perversions at the site she founded, xojane.com.
Yes, I sense that Ms. McCombs needs to understand that the things she is engaging in and promoting are some of the oldest sins in the Book. I'm talking about the Bible.
After Adam and Eve fell in the Garden, God pronounced the results of that Fall upon the woman and said:
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. -Genesis 3:16
That desire "to thy husband" was not sexual desire, but a desire to usurp his authority and place herself in his place, essential swapping out the gender roles that God had instituted. Women like Ms. McCombs still have not learned that they are continuing in the very sin that helped to user in death into the world among all mankind.
They promote feminism as though it is a healthy and beneficial thing, rather than seeing their God-given roles as mothers and wives as something not only pleasing to God but beneficial to themselves, their husbands, their children and to the world. It brings life, not death,
But they decide to choose the way of death because "it feels good" and "seems right" to them.
Yet, Scripture warns:
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. -Proverbs 14:12
It's easy to see that death is on her mind in her tweet in her desire to "kill all men," but then Jesus said that what is in the heart comes out of the mouth, or the keyboard in this case.
But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. “For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. “These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man. -Matthew 15:18-20
Ms. McCombs should seriously consider what Jesus has said and not only her tweet, which she was apparently embarrassed about enough that she deleted it, but also ponder why it was that she was shamed into deleting it. It was wrong and deviant. It was not just an attack on men, but against the created order, the roles of men and women and the Creator Himself.
I can only hope, as one who lived in open rebellion against the Creator, that God might show Ms. McCombs the same mercy He showed me and change her heart, grant her repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus and make her a new creation in Christ.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter.
