If there is one thing that we have learned in 2019, it’s that the liberal left is a little lost when it comes to their idea of what’s “offensive”.
Progressive politicians quite often display themselves as the champions of coddling. They act as thought they’ve been anointed the language police, and they fight tooth and nail to make sure that we are using the right pronouns, ethnic descriptors, and religious monikers. There’s nothing wrong with this, of course, except for the left’s consistent abuse of the ever-changing semantic landscape. They use the cutting edge of language to demean their political opponents, weaponizing this evolution for their own gain.
Worse still, they then go around uttering some of the most offensive, hurtful gibberish that they can muster. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez denigrated those affected by The Holocaust by insinuating that their plight is the same as the plight of immigrants awaiting court dates in air-conditioned holding centers. Several liberal celebrities have claimed that the President of the United States is fond of incest because of the way he treats his daughter Ivanka.
Now, we can add one-time Hollywood A-lister Jim Carrey to the mix, who went out of his way to compare Mitch McConnell to Osama bin Laden.
Jim Carrey said that the terror attacks of 9/11, responsible for 3,000 deaths and masterminded by Osama Bin Laden, doesn’t compare to the “gun deaths” the Hollywood actor says Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is responsible for.
“10,000 gun deaths in 2019 and the year is far from over. What Osama bin Laden did to us was terrible but he doesn’t hold a candle to Mitch McConnell,” Jim Carrey said in a Tweet that included an imagine of a hand holding a $100 bill being dipped in blood.
Carrey’s artistic abilities aren’t far removed from the high school sophomores from which he draws his comedic inspiration.

Carrey has long been critical of the National Rifle Association, once calling NRA President Wayne LaPierre “a demon from hell”.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
