It seems as though COVID-19 has now hit Tinsel Town, as a number of Hollywoods most famous folks have now tested positive for the pandemic disease.
This week will be a test for the nation. COVID-19 is set to make its move against America and Americans this week, with the only true method of prevention being “social distancing”, or, in layman’s terms, staying the heck away from everybody else.
Even the NBA got in on the action, postponing the remainder of their lengthy season until further notice.
In the entrainment world, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson shared the news that they have tested positive for the worrisome illness.
Now in isolation in a Queensland hospital, government officials say that people who have come in close contact with the couple will now need to self-isolate and quarantine.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are believed to have contracted the coronavirus in the U.S., or in transit from there, according to officials from Queensland Health, the Australian government department overseeing the outbreak of the disease in that state.
On Thursday, a Queensland Health official, without specifically naming the couple, said that all new reported infections are non-contact cases and that the patients are believed to have “contracted the illness outside Australia and traveled to Queensland with the virus.”
The effects of COVID-19 are rather mild for those who are in good health and able to receive quality care. Tom and Rita’s son Chet has described his parents as “fine” and unconcerned about possible complications.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
