Hitler, Stalin And ISIS Quotes In Pennsylvania High School Yearbook

“I’ve seen the future, brother, it is murder.” (Leonard Cohen)

For years, I have pointed to the leftist takeover of the US public school system as most responsible for the ruination of our children, and by extension, our country. Removing concrete facts and replacing them with assumption, bias and indoctrination, our children are unable to think critically. Instead, they repeat dogmatic nonsense and support socialist cretins like…. Bernie Sanders. We have lost the millennial generation to this poison. Our hope is the next generation.

It is a sad but predictable state of affairs when children are quoting Stalin and Hitler in their yearbooks. Where did they get those quotes? What and who gave them those ideas? The left’s Hitler and Stalin and Islamic State youth. It bodes most ill.

“Hitler, Stalin And IS Quotes In School Yearbook”

The quotes were apparently supplied by students to the graduating class publication, which was distributed without full review.

By Sky News US Team, May 26, 2016:

A Pennsylvania school has apologised after quotes from Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and the Islamic State group’s leader were printed in its yearbook.

The quotes were apparently supplied by students to Leetsdale’s Quaker Valley High School graduating class publication, which was then distributed without thorough review.

Nestling in the pages of the yearbook beside the smiling face of one teenager was the Hitler quote: “Words build bridges into unexplored regions.”

Appearing alongside thumbnail images of other students was Stalin’s statement: “Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, so why would we let them have ideas?”

IS leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi’s quote was: “Be just: the unjust never prosper. Be valiant. Keep your word, even to your enemies.”

Students have been told they can get a refund on the books, or cover up the quotes with stickers.

The school told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: “This is a regrettable mistake, as the school district would never knowingly condone this messaging in a school-sponsored publication.

“We are well aware of the emotions this has conjured in many of our students and their families, and for that we are sorry.”

It said the content of the quotes was reviewed thoroughly, but “the attributions clearly were not”.

Senior student Dominique Cagliuso said she was embarrassed to see such quotes from her fellow classmates had made it into the yearbook.

“It’s one thing to have a silly quote from your favourite TV show,” she told the Tribune-Review, “but to have a quote from dictators is disrespectful.”
