The National Rifle Association’s (NRA) Colion Noir’s first episode is out and he takes on the issue of mass shootings versus inner cities murders. Noir makes some great points and one of the biggest is that he calls for gun control proponents to stop using the inner cities as a jump off every time they want to bolster their gun control argument and actually pay attention to the cause of violence in the inner cities.
Noir says that, “for some reason nobody ever brings up the violence in the inner cities until we have a mass shooting in never, never land.” Noir illustrates, “If I’m a young kid growing up in a single parent home, living in poverty, attending a useless and wholly underfunded education system, and the only picture of success I see are gangbangers and drug dealers who own limited turf, who have to rob, steal and kill in order to survive — it doesn’t talk a genius to see why sweet little Andre turned into little Pookie.”
He then points out the difference of ethnicity involved in mass shootings and inner city violence. “Because everyone wants to cry gun control every time there’s a mass shooting, let’s be real,” Noir says. “When’s the last time a little skinny black kid walked into a school and started shooting people randomly? I’ll wait. That’s right, they haven’t, because they’re too busy killing each other.”
He then exhorts gun control advocates not to reference inner city violence the next time another mass shooting occurs. Noir wants honesty and as such tells gun control freaks that before they were confronted with their vulnerability and a mass shooting in their backyard, they didn’t care what happening the inner cities. Therefore, there is no reason for them to care now, except to push their gun control agenda.
Ah, but he saved the best for last and took on Mr. Barack “I don’t believe people should own guns” Obama.
He pointed back to Obama’s first term, in which he said he was largely “silent” on the issue of guns and even pointed to Obama making several statements that he wasn’t coming for your guns. He then pointed out that in Obama’s second term this is all we have heard. Noir said that Obama “donned your suit of Mr. Captain America of gun control to save the kids.”
The real issue is who is targeted by the gun control lobby; the Middle Class. Just like taxes, gun control is aimed at the Middle Class. He then makes his point by stating, “The privileged have no use for so called assault weapons because, I mean, they’re surrounded by security. Criminals don’t care what law you pass because they’re, well, criminals. So where does that leave the middle class in America? I’ll tell you. Being dictated to and treated like children by the ruling elite who, tell us, we don’t need certain types of weapons to adequately protect ourselves from the lower class, criminal element, who’s chomping at the bits, rooting for this gun control legislation because it only makes their job easier to feast on us law-abiding citizens like sheep because you’ve left us defenseless.”
Noir then points out that it’s all about politics. For in one breath Obama wants to ban so-called “assault weapons” and in the next breath says that he knows that majority of deaths due to the use of firearms, are committed with handguns. Obama is not consistent and that’s because he’s lying (my words, not Noir’s).
Colion Noir then concludes, “Stop giving me soundbites. It’s old and I’m tired of hearing it. It’s the same rhetoric proposing stupid legislation that won’t work at anything except disarming the segment of the population that needs those arms the most.”Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com on Instagram.
