As the 2020 race continues to tumble down the road toward absolution, Joe Biden appears to be the man to beat.
The former Vice President’s precariously timed campaign announcement occurred just weeks after fending off a scandal that may have struck down a lesser candidate, as several women came forward to tell their harrowing tales of being inappropriately groped by the longtime politician.
Now, another bit of scandalous behavior is emerging as it pertains to the Biden family’s relationship to Ukraine, and President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani is apparently not on the case…but then he is on the case.
During an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Giuliani elicited a series of contradicting answers.
“Did you ask the Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden?” Cuomo asked Giuliani.
“No, actually I didn’t. I asked the Ukraine to investigate the allegations that there was interference in the election of 2016 by the Ukrainians for the benefit of Hillary Clinton, for which there is already a court finding,” Giuliani responded.
“You never asked anything about Hunter Biden?” Cuomo asked. “You never asked anything about Joe Biden and his role with the prosecutor?”
“The only thing I asked about Joe Biden is to get to the bottom of how it was that Lutsenko, who was appointed, dismissed the case,” Giuliani said.
Then came the clincher.
“So you did ask Ukraine to look into Joe Biden?” Cuomo continued.
“Of course, I did,” Giuliani responded.
This apparent contradiction has raised alarm bells within the democratic community, mostly ringing in the general direction of Giuliani himself, but that should not be the big story here.
The more important question here involves Biden’s allegedly marginal behavior within Ukraine, and whether or not the American people will receive the full picture before casting their primary election votes.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
