We have now officially entered the “intimidation” stage of the left’s impeachment theater, as the figurative “noose” around the President continues to be symbolically tightened.
That’s not to say that this entire debacle hasn’t already been a bit overly dramatic – it certainly has – but we are now seeing the Democratic party and their cohorts going out of their way in order to threaten the President, albeit indirectly.
The first indication that we had entered this new phase were the arrests of two men with close ties to Rudy Giuliani, both of whom were at the airport with one-way tickets abroad – not a good look for the former NYC Mayor.
Now, in what appears to be a direct message to the President himself, federal prosecutors are claiming that Giuliani himself is now under investigation.
Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, is being investigated by federal prosecutors in New York for possible lobbying violations.
That’s according to a report Friday in The New York Times, citing two anonymous people familiar with the inquiry.
One of the Times’ sources says the investigation is related to Giuliani’s efforts to undermine former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.
Two Florida businessmen tied to Giuliani were charged Thursday with federal campaign finance violations. The men had key roles in Giuliani’s efforts to launch a Ukrainian corruption investigation against Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden and his son Hunter. A whistleblower complaint about Trump’s involvement with Ukraine has led to an impeachment investigation.
Giuliani has historically been quite outspoken regarding this latest UkraineGate conspiracy, making the nightly rounds on the mainstream media.
That looks likely to change now.Don't forget to Like Freedom Outpost on Facebook and Twitter, and follow our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
